Tefillin Bank
What is the Machon Stam Tefillin Bank?
If a Yid is ready to start putting on Tefillin every day but can’t afford a proper pair, the Machon Stam Tefillin Bank steps in to help.
In partnership with several Tefillin funds around the world, we arrange high-quality Tefillin for those who are genuinely committed to this mitzvah but need financial assistance.
How it Works:
1. Nomination by a Rabbi or Shliach
A local Rav or Shliach (or you, if you’re helping someone) chooses the right option below and submits the request.
2. Review & Approval
We review the request together with our partner Tefillin banks. If approved, funding is allocated for a pair of lechatchila kosher Tefillin.
3. Tefillin Through Machon Stam
Once approved, the Tefillin are supplied directly through Machon Stam with the same high standards we provide to all our customers.
Please choose the option that best fits the person you’re helping:
50% Subsidy — Preferred Option
If the person is able to pay half (ideally $300–$450 toward the Tefillin themselves):
This is the preferred option, as it allows them to have a personal share in their own pair of Tefillin.
This is the preferred option, as it allows them to have a personal share in their own pair of Tefillin.
In this case, please fill out the form below and we will arrange the remaining subsidy through our Tefillin bank partners.
Nomination Form – 50% Contribution
If the person can contribute at least 50% toward their Tefillin, please use this form. We’ll cover the rest.
Submissions are sent securely to info@machonstam.com
Complete (100%) Subsidy
If the person you’re trying to help cannot pay anything at all toward the Tefillin, please use the dedicated full-subsidy form from our partner bank.
This bank fully subsidizes the cost for someone who truly cannot contribute.
Once that form is filled out, we will process the request together with the bank that provides the full subsidy.
