Recently, Machon Stam had the distinct honor of seeing one of our scrolls travel from our workshop to the heart of Jerusalem for a truly historic celebration.
The journey began in Williamsburg, where a client commissioned this Sefer Torah with deep personal intention. Written by our expert sofrim, the scroll was destined for the Skulen Beis Midrash in Jerusalem, dedicated לעילוי נשמת (in memory of) the esteemed Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Weingarten, z"l.

A Celebration of Holiness and Heritage
The Hachnasat Sefer Torah was a sight to behold. In a rare and moving display of honor for the Torah, the Skulener Rebbe donned a traditional 'Kolpik' for the occasion. The streets of Jerusalem were filled with joy as the Rebbe danced with the new scroll, surrounded by a large gathering of Rebbes and Chassidim.
It is moments like these that drive our work at Machon Stam. Knowing that a Torah written with such care in our shop is now being used to inspire prayer and study in a holy Beis Midrash in Israel is the greatest reward we could ask for.
